VR12 - Ancillary Equipment (heavy vehicle recovery)

VR12 covers using a commercial vehicle tow pole or other types of ancillary equipment when carrying out routine removal procedures on commercial vehicles between 3500kg and 44000kg GVM, where a recovery cannot take place using standard recovery vehicles. This module also covers the safety requirements associated with the use of tow poles, chassis adaptors and other types of ancillary equipment.
